Mathematics (9-1) from 2015

New GCSEs in mathematics have been taught in schools in England since September 2015, with the first students getting their results in August 2017. These GCSEs are graded 1 to 9, with 9 being the top grade. Maths is tiered with a Foundation tier covering grades 1-5 and a higher tier covering grades 4-9. Assessment by external exam is via three papers, one non-calculator and two where a calculator is required.

Students at Kineton High School are following the Edexcel GCSE Mathematics 9-1 specification, details of which may be found here.
